Greetings Moms!
Happy March, a month that promises Spring is just around the corner! I am looking forward to play dates and park dates outside in just a few more weeks. Hope to see many of you out and about this spring.
I recently joined the board as your Philanthropy Coordinator for the upcoming year so I wanted to let you know what to expect in the year ahead as well as ask for ideas from you. We will continue to partner with SCCAP to gather backpacks and supplies for their back to school program at the end of the summer and to adopt-a-family during the holidays. In addition, I am hoping to find ways that we as a MSMAC group can do some service oriented project throughout the year. I hope to put “teams’ together to volunteer with the Gleaning Project this summer and the Untied Way Day of Action this fall. These are great opportunities to get the kids involved too!
As a board, we are also committed to meeting the needs of our members. If you or someone you know is in need, please reach out to one of the board members and we will do our best to assist!
Finally, I am open to suggestions! If there is an organization in our community that is near and dear to your heart, let me know. I am excited to continue to growing the MSMAC philanthropy efforts to support our community.
