Hi Moms!
As the winter weather kicks up a gear, I’m sure spring has entered some of your thoughts! Although this time of year is normally a quiet time for MSMAC events, the pandemic is creating an extra level of quiet. Hang in there! Let’s hope this week’s cold snap is long gone soon and brings us some warmer weather to enjoy the playgrounds together. (I know, I know, Phil saw his shadow, but according to NOAA he is only correct 40% of the time, meaning he is more likely wrong and winter will NOT last for 6 more weeks!!!)
This month’s celebrations are Black History Month, Valentine’s Day and the Chinese New Year! Links for crafts and reading at the bottom of the email if you need some inspiration.
Board Positions
Unfortunately, we did not have any volunteers for the Outreach Coordinator position on the board. Perhaps when life starts to return closer to normal a member may be interested in this role. In the meantime, Jen Decker has stepped forward and suggested we can combine the role with the Calendar Coordinator position, which she currently holds. We have created a temporary role, combining the two positions.
