I hope your 2022 is off to a peaceful start and that this year brings many chances to re-engage with old friends and opportunities to find new ones!
Even though 2021 made it difficult to gather as we would like, MSMAC still came together to raise funds for local charities that serve the Adams County community. Last year we were able to support Gettysburg CARES, Ruth’s Harvest, SCCAP’s Heating Assistance Program, SCCAP’s Holiday Toy Drive, and the Adams County Library System.
Through your generosity and the fundraising events organized each year, MSMAC has been able to donate over $2,600 to local charities over the past 9 years – and this amount doesn’t even include our annual participation in the back-to-school drive and the SCCAP Holiday Toy Drive! The kindness and generosity of this membership is felt right here in our local communities through the organizations we support.
It’s one of the many reasons MSMAC is such a special organization – support. We support each other through playdates, information sharing on Facebook, chats during walking group, a drink and a laugh over the most recent book club selection…the list goes on and on. I count myself lucky to be a part of such a wonderful, kind group of parents. Thank you for everything you do for eachother, your families, and your community. You rock!
