Hello Moms!
Happy November! I hope everyone survived the mountain of candy that may have been in your homes (I believe my kids are slowly forgetting about the giant stash above the fridge) and all the spookiness has been packed away for the next Halloween!
The holiday season is officially upon us. Each of us holds our own special traditions with this time of the year, whether it be traveling or staying local to be with family and friends, keeping it easy and spending extra time with the loved ones in our homes, volunteering within the community or simply enjoying treats that come along with the season change!
While we all have so much to be thankful for, let’s not forget to give back to the amazing community that we are all a part of! We raised $75 with our Halloween egg hunt for our philanthropy fund which, along with other funds totalling $225, MSMAC donated to the giving spree this past week ($100 to SCAPP and Ruth’s Harvest & $50 to CARES and Adams Co. Library system).
We have an upcoming fundraiser at Panera on Nov. 18th (flyer attached), 20% of sales come back to our organization which allows us to donate more to our local programs. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share with local friends, family and coworkers! The more the merrier!
As usual we have so many fun mini groups having events all throughout the month. Be on the lookout for outside exploration on Tuesdays with Mindy and Emily, walking group with Bria, an upcoming playgroup with our new member, Tessa to name a few!
Molly Rettig attended her first board meeting this month. She is ready to take on the Philanthropy reins and is already working on the SCAPP Christmas wishlist so look out for an email from Molly soon!
There will be no board meeting in December, so our next meeting is January 2022!
