Summer is coming to an end, but MSMAC fun continues!
Happy last few weeks of summer, MSMAC Moms! It’s been a great summer for our group; we’ve added seven new members, collected school supplies to support the United Way’s Back to School backpack drive, and hosted dozens of member events, including a successful Popsicles on the Playground event. Thank you to everyone who came out and invited friends; it was wonderful to meet so many new families!
As summer draws to a close, and many of us are sending little ones back to school (or to school for the very first time!), I am very much looking forward to the fall, and all the fun it holds for our MSMAC families. The board held our first regular board meeting at the beginning of this month, and is working hard on a number of projects, including completing the transition to maintaining both a private and a public Facebook page. We are also planning for our Fall New Member Potluck and fall fundraiser. We recently updated and consolidated our member roster. If you have had any changes to your info this year (new address, new baby, etc.), make sure to email board.msmac@gmail.com so we can update your information.
Many, many thanks to all of you who hosted an event this August. Your hard work, creativity, and generosity is what makes MSMAC truly great. I can’t wait to see what adventures we have this fall!
