“I’m so proud of my moms!”
I find myself saying this out loud at least a few times a month, often to the confusion of my husband. The moms of MSMAC never cease to amaze me. When a family has a new baby and the last thing they want to worry about it what to make for dinner, you are there with delicious meals. When someone asks for advice on what might be a sensitive subject, you respond with kindness and respect. When a family moves here and knows no one, you give them a warm welcome and help Adams County feel more like home.
This month, we asked your help in providing for a local family who lost everything in a fire, and the response was overwhelming. I had so many donations that I had to make sure the family was bringing a van to our pick-up location, because I had too many bags and boxes to fit in a car. The generosity, warmth, and enthusiasm of this group makes me so, so proud to be a part of MSMAC, and I am so grateful to each and every one of you.
