I hope all the first days at school are going well!
Looking for some inspiration I looked back at the monthly message from September 2020 and this is what I read:
The MSMAC board met earlier this month after a short summer break, and we are looking ahead to planning for the fall and winter. Despite the multitude of challenges we face in the world right now, our group is moving forward with membership recruitment, fundraising and philanthropy, and safe, thoughtful in-person events. Thank you all for your continued support and patience as we navigate this “new normal”.
Oh my! Who would have thought back then that this would still be our situation a year later! I’m pleased to say that we have definitely managed to hold more events this year than last. We have updated our website to help with membership recruitment – thanks to Emily T for a fabulous job! We are also in our planning phase for fundraising and philanthropy and have already received requests for funding from some of our previous charities. Which brings me to a ‘Save the date!’ Due to the success of our Halloween Egg Hunt last year, we will be holding one this year! We are going to make it a fundraising opportunity with a suggested donation of $5 per family.

Fall is one of the most fun seasons, and we have refreshed the local Fall Farms guide! There are a few farms missing and we will add those as the info is updated and share again. Remember we have the Tot Explorers on Thursday.
